SV	Als gij nu zaagt dat Nahas, de koning van de kinderen Ammons, tegen u kwam, zo zeidet gij tot mij: Neen, maar een koning zal over ons regeren; zo toch de HEERE, uw God, uw Koning was.
WLC	וַתִּרְא֗וּ כִּֽי־נָחָ֞שׁ מֶ֣לֶךְ בְּנֵֽי־עַמֹּון֮ בָּ֣א עֲלֵיכֶם֒ וַתֹּ֣אמְרוּ לִ֔י לֹ֕א כִּי־מֶ֖לֶךְ יִמְלֹ֣ךְ עָלֵ֑ינוּ וַיהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם מַלְכְּכֶֽם׃
Trans.	watirə’û kî-nāḥāš meleḵə bənê-‘ammwōn bā’ ‘ălêḵem watō’mərû lî lō’ kî-meleḵə yiməlōḵə ‘ālênû waJHWH ’ĕlōhêḵem maləkəḵem:

AC	יב ותראו כי נחש מלך בני עמון בא עליכם ותאמרו לי לא כי מלך ימלך עלינו ויהוה אלהיכם מלככם
ASV	And when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, ye said unto me, Nay, but a king shall reign over us; when Jehovah your God was your king.
BE	And when you saw that Nahash, the king of the Ammonites, was coming against you, you said to me, No more of this; we will have a king for our ruler: when the Lord your God was your king.
Darby	But when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, ye said to me, Nay, but a king shall reign over us; when Jehovah your God was your king.
ELB05	Als ihr aber sahet, daß Nahas, der König der Kinder Ammon, wider euch kam, sprachet ihr zu mir: Nein, sondern ein König soll über uns regieren! da doch Jehova, euer Gott, euer König war.
LSG	Puis, voyant que Nachasch, roi des fils d'Ammon, marchait contre vous, vous m'avez dit: Non! mais un roi régnera sur nous. Et cependant l'Eternel, votre Dieu, était votre roi.
